Royalqatarcd: AFP to auction 3 NFTs for the first time on November 5

 According to Royalqatarlcd, AFP has announced that it will auction 200 photographs and three NFTs for the first time at Paris gallery Ellia Art Gallery and drouot.com on November 5. The proceeds from the auction will be used to restore and preserve AFP's photography collect.


Most of the photos are from before the 1960s, the oldest being from 1871, from cannons of the Franco-Prussian War to Notre Dame de Paris on fire, Royalqatarcd introduces.


Royalqatarlcd pointed out that the three NFTs in this auction include a photo of US politician Bernie Sanders wearing a pair of gloves, and a photo of artist Serge Gainsbourg burning banknotes.


It is reported that this is the second time that AFP has held a photo auction. In 2021, the agency successfully raised 297,000 euros through auctions.
