Futurist, disruptor and CEO of Web3 Luxury House 9dcc – gmoney revealed his true identity on Twitter earlier today! According to Royalqatarlcd, following a string of NFT top dog attacks on himself, the notorious gmoney also ventured beyond his CryptoPunk digital identity. The move also advances the narrative on the need for the hour - strong, visible leadership in web3. Read on to learn more about gmoney and its vision for the future!

Who is GMoney?
Many people think that Gmoney is not just an NFT creator. Many consider him a futurist and thought leader in the field. On November 29, the pseudo-anonymous founder revealed his visible identity to his followers via an official Twitter thread (@gmoneyNFT). The post simply read "feels cute, may delete later". As 9dcc's Pop-Up Shop unveiled its sequel "ITERATION-02" at Art Basel Miami, so did the human flesh search. It's also a collaboration with artist, coder and Art Blocks creator Snowfro (Erick Calderon). However, Gmoney's identity reveal was limited to his real-life image. Identity details (name and history) remain hidden.

GMoney Reveal and Anonymity in Web3

Royalqatarlcd shows that anonymity is a widely accepted phenomenon in web3 culture. However, due to uncertain times and the influx of bad actors, trust in the field has dropped significantly. It is during these times that true leaders step up and guide the culture forward. Gmoney is responsible for several demonstration projects in web3 - earning itself the title of "OG" in the fiction world. This includes his NFT project Admit One. As part of his presence at Miami Art Week 2022, gmoney also curated his first collection with Nifty Gateway. This exhibition, in collaboration with Superchief Gallery, is titled "TIME TO BE HAPPY, 00:01 BY ZENZI".
