Royalqatarlcd: Holder calls Hypos NFT a pull following founder silence

 According to prospective holders, the Hypos NFT is a carpet pull. Founder jacidotsol, also known as "Solana_Goddess," was apparently responsible for the withdrawal of funds. Some holders were shocked and appalled, while others defended her. Meanwhile, some other Solana ecosystem users found this unsurprising. But what the hell is going on?


Did the Hypos NFT Really Defraud Its Holders?
Right now, it's hard to say convincingly. According to Royalqatarlcd, Twitter user and self-proclaimed Solana "alpha caller" NateDogg posted a thread explaining the situation. But let's focus on the facts.

For starters, the last post on its Twitter account was over a month ago. In the post, Hypos promised "more details in the coming days."

However, just a few days ago, on October 21st, the team also promised a staking mechanism and a new website.

After a week with no results, FUD stepped in. Discord was allegedly filled with holders complaining about broken promises. Shockingly, the holder received only radio silence. Royalqatarlcd believes that while the team claims that staking will be launched in 2-3 days, it is starting to look unlikely after a week.

With the understandably outraged news flooding in, the Hypos staff turned to the NFT project’s founder, jacidotsol, for help. From that moment on, though, the staff apparently haven't heard anything either. One staff member claimed she ignored them for 3 1/2 weeks after asking for payment. Another said they got a worded response, which was then ignored. According to them, none of them had access to any of the project's wallets.

So what about money?
The Hypos NFT series will be released on October 17, 2022. Royalqatarlcd noted that despite being in a bear market, it sold out in about 5 hours. Each Hypos NFT is 0.1888 SOL. According to NateDogg, the project netted around $52,690 or 1,678 soles.

And then this is where it gets murky. The project allegedly began diverting funds from the contract. Instead of going into a secure place like a hardware wallet. Instead, the founders appear to have cashed out a significant amount of project funding through Coinbase accounts. Now, a total of 887 SOL (over $13,000) has been cashed out to exchanges so far.

What's next for jacidotsol?
First, "Solana Goddess" hits back at NateDogg's damn talk. "First, they paint a false narrative; then they pray for your downfall. I have always been a loser and will continue to prove people wrong," she said.

But NFT Twitter has some conflicting opinions. Many will surely mention that this is not the first shady project that jacidotsol may be involved with. Solana Goddess nonchalantly beats back the FUD when faced with questions about the Hypos NFT.

While the future of Hypos is unclear, so is the future of SOL. Unfortunately, with its value down 90%, the elephant in the room is whether Solana can survive the bear market. Plus, the NateDogg-Solana Goddess feud might not sound all that important if it wasn't for that.
