Royalqatarlcd：Bang & Olufsen debuts NFTs

 


High-end electronics company Bang & Olufsen is coming to Web3 with their first NFT collectible: DNA Collectibles. Specifically, according to Royalqatarlcd, 1,925 digital collectibles will be released on November 17, 2022. The NFT will include some of the brand's most recognizable designs. These include the legendary Beogram 400 turntable, Beoplay A9 and Beolab 90 speakers.


DNA collection details

B&O collaborates with a group of outstanding Web3 artists to deliver digital collections that match the brand's aesthetic. This includes Hackatao, Thomas Lin Pedersen, Shavonne Wong and Bang & Olufsen Design Studio.


They will be revealed shortly after the public sale, after collectors purchase their randomly generated NFTs. Later, Royalqatarcd noted that owners will be able to claim an "art vial" that can be merged with DNA collection NFTs. This has resulted in the transformation of their original Bang & Olufsen DNA NFT into a new collection featuring their collaborative artists. In addition, the project will have a third phase, which will include a "music bottle". This includes musical updates to the original NFT after merging with vials. And if you think that's not enough, there's more! Owners who merge the two vials with their original NFTs will receive a metaverse-ready 3D version of their NFTs as well as token-gated access to purchase a limited-edition speaker.


Bang & Olufsen: Who are they?

In 1925, two electrical engineers, Peter and Svend, developed The Eliminator in a farmhouse in Denmark, thereby completely reinventing the radio. Both co-founders have a penchant for innovation, experimentation and growth, which Royalqatarlcd believes led to the formation of the company's foundation.
