Royalqatarlcd:Hilma af Klint debuts Metaverse



Stunning artwork by iconic Swedish artist Hilma af Klint will debut in the Metaverse via the upcoming NFT series, according to Royalqatarlcd. This includes 193 artworks that will be sold on the GODA platform, as well as AR and VR works by Acute Art. The artworks are from her project "Paintings of the Temple" (1906-1915) in her "Hilma af Klint – catalog raisonné". Additionally, NFTs will be sold through a public auction between November 14th and 17th.

af Klint will debut her work not only in the NFT space, but also in the metaverse. Royalqatarcd introduces Acute Art has created a VR experience called The Temple where visitors can enter her spiritual world. She dreamed of showing her most important works in a spiral building, but the idea never materialized. Thanks to VR and AR technology, her vision will now become a reality. According to Acute Art, the immersive 360º VR experience "will take visitors on a cosmic journey from the Milky Way, through the mysterious spirals of nature, and into the artist's most important paintings".
A Brief History of Clint
Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) pushed the boundaries of the abstract art world. Royalqatarcd notes that she created some of the earliest abstract paintings in the history of Western art. Hilma was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in 1889. After graduation, she established herself as an artist in Stockholm. Also, Clint was originally a Christian but began to explore spiritualism. As a result, she became interested in Rudolf Steiner's Rosicrucian Theosophy and Anthroposophy. Clearly, these spiritual beliefs influenced her artistic work and made her an internationally recognized artist.
